Code of Conduct

The BKFA kite flier’s Code of Conduct can be found in the PDF document below. It has been organised in terms of a few key objectives which, we hope, makes it simpler to understand.

In summary, these are –
* Obey the law
* Keep yourself safe
* Keep others safe
* Use the right kit
* Look after the environment
* Have good manners
* …and for buggiers, obey the “Rules of the Road”.

Following a suggestion by kiteflyer and horse owner David Ford we have also added guidance on flying near horses. This has been done in consultation with the British Horse Society. The advice can be found in the PDF file  Kite Flying and Horses.
